SocialScoreKeeper Launches Private Live Streaming for Fan Clubs
Parents can now stream their child's games live to their private Fan Club using any RTMP-compatible device. Streams are tied to specific games and recordings save automatically.
We're excited to announce that SocialScoreKeeper now supports private live streaming to YOUR Fan Club.
This feature enables parents to share their child's games in real-time with distant family members—all while staying private to YOUR circle and keeping you present at the game.
What Makes It Different
App-Agnostic
Use any RTMP-compatible device or app—like XBOTGO Chameleon, GoPro Hero 13, or any free smartphone streaming app. It's your choice!
Game-Bound
Credentials are game-specific. The stream ties to THAT game—just like photos and videos from the in-app camera.
Private Only
Visible only to YOUR Fan Club—not public broadcasting like YouTube. No strangers can watch.
Auto-Archive
Recordings automatically save to the game gallery 2-3 minutes after stream ends, organized forever.
The Secondary Device Philosophy
Your PRIMARY phone should stay focused on the game and YOUR child.
A secondary device (another smartphone with free RTMP app, sports camera, or action camera) handles the streaming so you stay fully present.
This keeps you managing the scoreboard, chatting with fans, and watching YOUR child play—not fiddling with streaming settings.
Secondary Device Options
- Another smartphone with any free RTMP app (Larix, Prism Live, CameraFi Live)
- Sports cameras like XBOTGO Chameleon with auto-tracking
- Action cameras like GoPro Hero 13
- Professional encoders for advanced users
Don't have a secondary device? That's perfectly fine! Use the in-app camera for instant photo and video uploads.
How It Works (30 Seconds to Setup)
Generate Credentials
In YOUR child's game, tap the camera icon → "Live Stream" → "Generate RTMP Credentials"
Enter in Your Device
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key into your RTMP app or camera settings
Start Streaming
Set secondary device on tripod, point at field, and tap "Go Live"
Your Family is Watching
Fans get notifications and watch live in SocialScoreKeeper. Recording saves automatically after stream ends.
Who Is This For?
This feature is perfect for families with:
Distant Grandparents
Who want to watch their grandchild's games live from across the country
Working Parents
Who miss games but want to tune in during breaks
Extended Family
Aunts, uncles, and family friends who care about THIS child
Camera Owners
Who already own sports cameras and want to use them for family connection
Privacy-First, Always
Unlike YouTube or Facebook Live, SocialScoreKeeper streams are designed for private family circles, not public audiences.
What We Are
- ✓ Private to YOUR Fan Club only
- ✓ Family-focused streaming
- ✓ Game-specific and organized
- ✓ Permission-controlled access
What We're Not
- ✗ Not public broadcasting
- ✗ Not searchable or discoverable
- ✗ Not team-wide streaming
- ✗ Not content creation for strangers
This aligns with our core mission: private family connection during the formative years, not public content creation.
Compatible Devices
SocialScoreKeeper works with any RTMP-compatible device or app. Here are some popular options:
Smartphones
Use that old phone in your drawer with any free RTMP streaming app:
iOS Apps (Free):
- • Larix Broadcaster
- • Prism Live Studio
- • CameraFi Live
Android Apps (Free):
- • Larix Broadcaster
- • CameraFi Live
- • StreamLabs
Sports & Action Cameras
Purpose-built cameras with RTMP streaming support:
- • XBOTGO Chameleon - Auto-tracking sports camera
- • GoPro Hero 13 - Professional action camera with RTMP
- • Veo, OBSBOT - Other sports camera options
Note: We don't recommend specific streaming apps, as the ecosystem changes frequently. Research current RTMP-compatible options that work best for your needs.
Getting Started
Live streaming is included in the ScoreKeeper subscription ($9.99/month) for all families. Here's what you need to know:
Important: Credentials Regeneration
Each game gets unique credentials. If your stream stops or gets interrupted (lost connection, battery died, etc.), you'll need to generate NEW credentials to resume—even for the same game.
Old credentials expire after each stream ends for security. Generating new ones takes 30 seconds.
Multiple Streamers Welcome
Multiple fans with media capture permissions can each generate their own credentials and stream simultaneously. Great for different camera angles or backup streams!
